Sand Hayward Pool Filters
Hayward pool sand filters uses 20-40 micron graded silica sand to clean water and must be backwashed on a specific schedule. There are four product lines:

  • Hayward Pro Series Plus - side mount sand filters for most installations (spa, in-floor cleanin pools, fountains, etc)
  • Hayward Pro Series Top Mount - high-rate top mount sand filters
  • Hayward Pro Series Side Mount - high-rate side mount sand filters
  • Hayward S200 series - ultimate high-performance sand filters

DE Hayward Pool Filters
Diatomaceous Earth (DE) Hayward pool filters uses DE powder to filter water. They are used to coat "grids" in the filter housing and act as tiny sieves allowing for the removal of debris as small as 5 microns. There are four models in DE model line:

  • Pro-Grid Vertical Grid - first model in line for small in-ground pools, spas and pool/spa combinations
  • Perflex Extended-Cycle - model with patented Flex-Tube design gives longer cycles between cleaning. Used for in-ground pools of all types and sizes
  • Pro-Grid - combines high-technology features and "service-ease" design for an unparalleled filtration value
  • Perflex - extended cycle DE filter series

Cartridge Hayward Pool Filters
Cartridge filters is most easy-to-use filtere, that filters dirt up to 10-15 microns. They run at lower pressure than other pool filtersand puts less backpressure to the pump. These filters must me cleaned not less than two times at the season. Filter elements to replace to are also available. Cartridge Hayward pool filter works harder, achieving maximum water flow and superior filtration with minimal maintenance necessary. Models:
